Guerrilla Collective Day 1: Everything Announced and Revealed


The Guerrilla Collective is a new online digital festival that is hosted by Kinda Funny Games’ Greg Miller and is produced by Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) with Kinda Funny Games Showcase.This new digital festival is three days long, and we are gathering each and every announcement and reveal in these roundup articles. Check out each game below;

System Shock

Platforms: Windows, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia

System Shock received a brand new trailer and showed the game in action. This remaster of the 1994 classic was rebuilt on Unreal Engine 4 and allows you to once again face off against the ruthless A.I. Shodan. It also teased a demo may be headed our way soon.

Cardaclylsm

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Face off against the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse in the card battle game called Cardaclysm. It is a procedurally generated collectible card game that mixes in action-RPG elements.

Uragun

Platforms: Windows, Mac

Uragun is a top-down shooter that rewards your “instinct and exploration of combat synergies.” You take control of Uragun, the deadliest tactical weapon humanity has ever created.

EXO ONE

Platforms: Windows

Take an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey in EXO ONE as you pilot an alien craft through both space and time. EXO ONE features a gravity-based movement system and has players transforming between a sphere and a glider to maintain momentum and explore the vast reaches of the universe.

Almighty: Kill Your Gods

Platforms: Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Almighty: Kill Your Gods has players… well… attempting to kill gods along with demons and monsters. Almighty is an action-RPG that can be played solo or with up to four friends. Players can “run, leap, and fly across islands” all while destroying any enemy in your path and rebuilding your home with their remains.

Roki

Platforms: Windows, Nintendo Switch

Roki is a dark fairy tale that features a deep narrative, puzzles, and exploration. It is inspired by Scandinavian folklore and is the debut title from two ex-Guerilla Games art directors.

Genesis Noir

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Xbox oneGenesis Noir is a noir adventure that is set before, during and after the Big Bang. Players will be able to explore everything from black holes to primordial Earth to jazz cades. Genesis Noir allows you to witness the birth and history of mankind, while also possibly finding a way to “destroy creation” itself.

Doors of Insanity

Platforms: Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Collectible card game? Purgatory? Mix the two and you have Doors of Insanity. Create your own custom character, build your deck, and “journey to the paradise you deserve.”

A Juggler’s Tale

Platforms: Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

A Juggler’s Tale follows Abby, an artiste that is held captive at a circus. During the day, she entertains families and kids of all ages, yet at night she is stuck in a cage, dreaming of freedom. One day she escapes and has her chance to find what she’s been fighting so long for.

However, she soon finds out how dangerous the outside world is.

This game takes place in a war-torn, medieval fairytale world that sees Abby “surrounded by ravaged, starving citizens and and hunted by the relentless cut-throat Tonda.”

Lake

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Take on the role of “40-something” Meredith Weiss in 1986, who has returned to her home of Providence Oaks in Oregon. She changed her life and is now filling in for her dad, a mail carrier. Players have a ton of choice and will decide how this personal story develops.

Urban Trial Tricky

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

This Switch game has players getting on a motorbike and pulling off incredible, gravity-defying tricks. UTT has a bunch of style, and has players using freestyle, breakdance, and FMX moves to complete any challenge.

Boyfriend Dungeon

Platforms: Windows, Nintendo Switch

Boyfriend Dungeon is a dungeon crawling experience that sets itself apart by having your weapons transform into a host of potential boyfriends.

Colt Canyon

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Colt Canyon has players shooting through a hostile canyon full of “hidden treasures, weapons, obstacles and all kinds of bloodthirsty scum!” This game also features a stylish pixel-art design and has rougelike elements and real-time combat.

Slay the Spire

Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, Windows, Linux

Slay the Spire, the popular card-based roguelike, is now available on iOS.

In our review of Slay the Spire, we said “Slay the Spire takes some of the best parts of deckbuilding games, roguelikes, and dungeon crawlers and mixes them into a wholly new and extremely satisfying package. It encourages experimentation, gives you time to make mistakes, and will challenge you immensely as you navigate your way through floor after floor of entertaining, puzzle-like fights. It’s an idea so good that it’s inspired a dozen games like it before it even left early access, but is executed so well that none of them even come close to matching it.

Rigid Force Redux

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Rigid Force Redux is a classic shoot-em up in a modern 3D world. Face off against hordes of infected aliens and machines that are programmed to wage an intergalatic war against mankind.

Outbuddies DX

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Outbuddies DX is a non-linear metroidvania that is all about Old Gods, strange creatures, and remnants of a lost world. Also, it is available toiday for Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Baldur’s Gate 3

Platforms: Windows, Google Stadia

Larian Studios has announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 will enter Early Access in August 2020… maybe.

The news was announced during Day 1 of the Guerrilla Collective and Larian Studios cautioned that it is planning on the August 2020 release date, but warns that is only if there are no more significant delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Disco Elysium

Platforms: Windows, Mac

Disco Elysium is now available on the Epic Games Store.

In our 9.6/10 review for Disco Elysium, we said “Disco Elysium is a unique blend of noir-detective fiction, traditional pen-and-paper RPGs, and a large helping of existentialist theory. Its twisting plot, cast of memorable characters, and sheer depth of choice combine to create an experience that begs to be savoured. A few minor gripes aside, it hits on almost every single one of the marks it sets out to achieve and left me yearning to spend more time in its world.”

West of Dead

West of Dead is a dark western set in Purgatory, Wyoming. Mystic enemies, dark powers, and the desert sun all come into play in this gritty western shooter.

Dwarf Fortress

Developer Tarn Adams showcased a new version of Dwarf Fortress that will be heading to Steam.

Valheim

Valheim is a nordic-inspired 3D action-adventure game. Fight trolls and rival clans as you make your way through the land.

Ultrakill

Ultrakill is a Doom-like shooter. Skulls, demons, hordes of enemies, shoot them all.

Children of Morta

Children of Morta will be getting new characters with a free DLC update.

Frostpunk: Project TVADGYCGJR

Dusk

Take the battle to “mystical backwater cultists, possessed militants, and even darker forces” in this retro FPS shooter that is inspired by the classics of the genre from the 90s like Doom and Wolfenstein.

Fights in Tight Spaces

Fights in Tight Spaces is a stylish deck-building, turn-based tactics game reminiscent of classic action movies.

Liberated

Platforms: Windows

Liberated is a hand-drawn, comic-inspire shooter where you join the revolution and take on the system. Liberated will be released in July 2020.

Gestalt: Steam & Cinder

Platforms: Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

This 2D platforming title is inspired by many of the 16 and 32-bit classics that came before it and takes place in a handcrafted steampunk world. Join Aletheia and many other unique characters as they try to discover the secrets of the city of Canaan, the last bastion of mankind.

Swimsanity!

Swimsanity! is a multiplayer underwater shooter. Use power-ups and your aquatic powers to survive the underwater world.

No Place for Bravery

No Place for Bravery is a top-down action RPG the combines violence with parental abandonment and will be releeased in 2021.

Haven

GONNER 2

GONNER 2 brings Ikk back and he’s been hired by Death to help her take down a mysterious presence that has taken over her lair.

Just Die Already
