  • Half the year is over. On Mann Ki Baat we have been discussing a wide range of topics. These days, people are commonly talking about one thing — when will 2020 end. They feel it has been a year of many challenges.
  • Whatever be the challenge, the year should not be blamed; India’s history stands testimony to many glorious victories on all kinds of challenges.
  • India bows to our brave martyrs. They have always kept India safe. Their valour will always be remembered.
  • Our effort should be towards making the country stronger and self-reliant – this will be the real tribute to our martyrs.
  • No mission can be successful without people’s participation – as a citizen, I seek your resolve, devotion and cooperation in making the country Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.
  • For hundreds of years, raiders attacked India; it was thought India will lose its existence and culture; on the contrary, it added to the brilliance and glory of the nation.
  • Guided by our strong cultural ethos, India has turned challenges into successes. We will do so again this time as well.
  • India knows how to maintain a friendship, but it can look someone in the eye and retaliate; our bravehearts have shown that they won’t let any harm be done to Mother India.
  • There could be any number of challenges but our history shows that we have always overcome them.
